1. Debate? Yes. Flaming? NO.

The Message board members who read and post to the Totally Tara forums do so primarily to find information, analysis, opinion, and to share a common interest in Tara and her career. When interaction/discussions includes opposing opinions generating lively discussions-fantastic! When that includes hype, insults and counter-insults-we will intercept. If you disagree with someone's opinion, challenge that opinion, but refrain from attacking the person who expressed it.

2. Objectionable or offensive language.

The Totally Tara moderators and administrators will not permit the use of any language that it deems objectionable or offensive. You must not defame, harass, threaten, or abuse, make bigoted, hateful, or racially offensive statements. The moderators and administrators reserve the right to delete any such post and ban any user that engages in this type of activity.

3. Copyright Issues

Posting or otherwise transmitting any content that infringes any patent, trademark, or copyright is prohibited.

4. Advertisements & Links

Postings containing advertising or solicitation of goods or services are not permitted. In addition solicitation of users of the site to use or join or become members of any online or offline service, club or forum will not be tolerated, except when authorized by the Totally Tara moderators and administrators.

5. Grounds for Immediate Post Removal and/or Board Suspension

The following types of postings are cause for immediate post removal, warning, and/or board suspension/expulsion. Other inappropriate postings not listed below may also warrant removal and/or suspension from the Totally Tara Messageboard:

· Posting speculations, inferences, and/or personal attacks towards a fellow board member, skater, journalist, or other member of the public.
· Posting contact or personal information about another individual without permission. (including email addresses, phone numbers, addresses or locations)
· Posting material containing profanity, vulgarity, hate speech, threats of violence or otherwise objectionable or offensive content.
· Posting material that is obscene, pornographic or adult in nature.
· Posting copyright items without the permission of the copyright owner.
· Posting material that in any way violates the TOS
· Continued refusal to abide by these rules and warnings sent by the moderators and administrators.

Why isn't there an "Eligible Skating" forum?

This message board and its forums are devoted to a singular central topic - TARA LIPINSKI. As such, there is no forum here devoted to Eligible Skating.

I just can't stand "so and so" - "such and such" is way better than him/her!!

While we all respect and admire Tara, and enjoy saying nice things about Tara, the above does not qualify! Tara is an exceedingly POSITIVE person, and she would like her message forums to reflect that. So, if you have something nasty, harsh, or exceedingly negative to say, say it elsewhere. Saying it here will get your post removed and your account warned, then terminated. Tara wants a fun, friendly and positive atmosphere on her message board, and our job is to protect it. Lively debate is one thing, name calling and personal attacks are another. This standard may make this board more restrictive than others, but that's the way it is. As mentioned above, there are plenty of alternatives elsewhere on the internet.

Why do I have to give you my email address to use the forum?

We do require an email address to register simply because this allows us to filter out a lot of trolls and troublemakers who enjoy starting trouble behind a cloak of anonymity. We will never publish or sell your email address to anyone, ever.

Does Tara read these messages? Does she post messages here herself?

Yes and Yes. Tara's username here is TaraKLipinski - any post you see with TaraKLipinski as the author IS a post from Tara herself! Because it would not be humanly possible to reply to EVERY message, Tara generally does not reply to individual messages, although she does read them.
